Secrets of successful life on web
• What is a human life? One possible answer, applicable
to most of us, could be that it is a divine gift, granted to our
embodied consciousness to breathe and live in this working world
full of objectives, opportunities, obstacles (problems), and options.
The worldly working ingredients of life are body, mind, and intellect.
Some wise people say, there is a third eye or fourth state of
mind, but we (the less wise people) do not know anything about
metaphysical or transcendental knowledge. We remain ignorant on
that aspect. For our growth, we look only for the development
and achievement of outer resources, in terms of money and matter,
with our own inputs, energy, efforts, mental attitude, approach,
and try to convert them into gratification of our senses, pleasures,
peace, happiness of mind, and satisfaction of ego.
• We forget that we are in the habit of forgetfulness.
As we forget Him, who gave us the divine gift of life, we also
forget, that these pleasures and happiness which pop up under
our own doership and ownership basis, are temporary, transitory
and always followed by their opposites in due course of time,
just as night follows day or winter follows summer. Well, this
is a law of nature, also applicable to a creature. Therefore pleasures
are followed by pains, sorrows, sufferings, and desires by greed,
and greed by grief. The orientation of mind is such that we play
only worldly game, the game of ego and when we forego our body,
we go for another birth and rebirth. That is why Guru Nanak said,
"Nanak dukhya sab sansar." (There is sorrow all around.)
• So obviously and evidently, there are obstacles and problems
in life, which we have to face, and seek His grace. We have to
live, let live and outlive the life in love, laughter, and light
to remain enlightened and abide in permanent peace, prosperity,
happiness, and harmony. If that is so, what shall we do and how
can we do. Well, there could be many many ways in this diversified
world. Then we must do some deep thinking and do something in
some way. Albert Einstein rightly said, "Deep thinking is
the hardest work."
• According to our thinking, (which may not be deep), we
thought there are some problems, which are quite common to all
of us (we, the human beings), wrt, body, mind and intellect, individually,
relatively, socially or collectively, at different timings in
life. The solution of any problem sprouts from inside. So, why
not develop the inner and outer resources of individual personality,
so that the integrated developed personality can face, handle,
and manage the problems, and also face the challenges of life
squarely, without any inaction or an attitude of, 'To be, or not
to be'.
• As an illustration, we can see from scriptures (Mahabharat),
how Arjuna threw away his weapon and refused to fight, as he was
emotionally upset and he was in agony due to his ignorance or
lack of knowledge. So in life, some tools and means are always
required, to manage and to carry on successfully.
• Now the questions arise, what kind of tools and services
are required, to whom to pass on, how to pass on and why to pass
on. It is easier said than done. By itself, it could be a tremendous
never-ending project. However, we thought, that we must do something
in a small way, to start with, as Kennedy said, "Let us begin."
Our main principle is to 'Assist & Help.'
• Accordingly, initially, we have chosen a few limited
core fields or important tools to provide foundation and strength
to our personality. The most important field, factor or foundation
is the 'Knowledge'. We are talking about that knowledge, about
which even we do not know. Possibly many many people may not know.
That is the knowledge of the 'Unknown'. But it is definitely there.
It is immanent, prevailing, and pervading, permeating and also
transcendental. Now from where to get such a knowledge and who
will give. Lord Krishna has revealed such Knowledge to his devotee
and friend Arjuna, which inspired him, to apply this knowledge,
do his duty and win the war. Bhagwad Gita gives this knowledge.
But we think that this knowledge was for Arjuna, and not for us
or it is over our heads and better not waste our time. However,
we consider, it is better to invest our time to read, listen,
or contemplate with faith, love, devotion, surrender, and humility
to absorb the intrinsic truth and knowledge and apply it in life.
As a matter of fact, it is our duty to put in our self-effort
and this is the only way to assimilate the Knowledge. So, we have
separated some very important slokas for daily reading and also
themes & summary of each chapter, and essence of Gita. This
Knowledge enlightens the intellect.
• After intellect, we have chosen 'Mind Miracle'. Mind
is the key of our personality, which either opens it up or closes
it down. It is friend or foe, servant or master. Swami Vivekananda
called it a monkey, who jumps from one tree to another. It is
a software which processes the data collected by sense organs
and leads us to our likes and dislikes. When it is oriented towards
worldliness, it thinks of money and matter. It has its own 'Inbox',
called sub-conscious mind, which stores its memories, likes, dislikes
and all other worldly toxins, due to interaction of our ego with
the outside world. With the time and age, as the body degenerates,
so does the mind. We can do something about the body, but a very
little. However, we can do a lot for the mind. We forget (as usual)
that God has given us enough freedom, time and technology to detoxify
the mind by way of japa, tapa, mantram, meditation, contemplation,
satsang or any other technique, which reorients and redirects
us back to our source from where we emerged or the retreat, where
we have got to go. Here the question arises, "What is the
effect of reorientation of mind towards its source. What do we
get?" Unfortunately, in any transaction, gross or subtle,
we expect only tangible results. We forget or we do not know that
such an attitude, approach, love and sadhna will not only purify
our mind, it will develop our inner resources, make the mind master
of the senses, improve our environments, will bless and bestow
contentment, peace, happiness, harmony, satisfaction and we will
be well- behaved human beings and citizen. Even under adverse
situation, it provides strength, courage and confidence to handle
and manage our problems of health, loss and life. Only money in
our hands will not solve such problems. Possibly it may aggravate.
Please do not misunderstand us. We are not against money as such;
we are against negligence of mind, and domination of senses over
mind, wrong notions and ignorance of what the Truth is. That is
why Swami Swaroopananda said,"When mind minds Mind, the matter
does not matter." That is," fix your mind in proper
place, the Supreme Mind." As Professor Prema Pandurang said.
Swami Bhoomananda said,"Be a mindocrat, to be a Mind Explorer."
• To mature, develop, steady and purify our mind, we need
some tools. As per the nature of mind, they should be subtle,
sweet, and sublime. These tools are nothing but 'Meditation',
'Mantras' and 'Yogas'. Meditation, connects us directly to our
Source, which gives nothing but what it has, or what it is, or
what we are (about which, we don't know) ie the 'Absolute Ananda',
or in worldly terms, ever-lasting happiness. Apart from wholesome
happiness, it gives us the knowledge, courage, and technique to
face and manage our life and its problems, to achieve success,
self-identity, self-satisfaction, self-contentment, self-illumination,
Self-realisation, and intellctual happiness.
• Mantra, has the hidden (secret) power of awakening our
inner consciousness, controls the mind, and bestows blessings,
benefits, bonus and boons. Mantra is like a mobile phone, which
connects us directly, through divine hot line to God for communication.
Some specific mantras could be healing, curative or fulfilling
our desires.
• Along with intellect and mind, we have to look after
our body. We all know that it degenerates with time, and this
creates a hell in our later part of life, but we have no time
to look into this problem, and do something about it. Some of
us are carried away by commercial ads, and think about some costly
macines to carry out some exercises, but they are unaware of the
system or technique, called 'Yoga', which costs nothing, but keeps
body muscles and joints, flexible, supple and strong, provided
you have the will power to practice it regularly, at any place,
anywhere. Yoga is nothing but stretch, bend and twist of the body,
muscles and joints in proper postures. Specially, spine and knee,
the citical parts of the body, remain flexible, trouble-free and
pain free, throughout, even in old age. Blood circulation improves,
and the postures are curative even for some serious trouble-shooting
health problems eg sciatica, back pain. Similarly, 'Deep Breathing'
also plays its important role, as curative and granting long life.
• There are many questions and doubts in the minds of many
about the 'Unknown'. We have compiled some questions and the replies
by sants, saints and sages, and present before you. May this enlighten
us.
• We have also compiled some tips for health and wisdom.
We are trying to convert them into open secrets.
• 'Homeopathy' is one of the alternative systems of medicine,
easy to understand & learn and safe to use. We are presenting
it in a quick-to-refer format. This could be useful for day-to-day
health problems, acute or even chronic. This is not comprehensive.
We have selected and compiled only some of the problems and their
corresponding remedies. However, we do not undertake any direct
responsibility.
• Finally, now the question arises, why all this, what
for, and how to do. We confess we are not experts. However, as
an inspiration and motivation from sloka 18.68 of Bhagwad Gita,
and based on modern technology, we have simply collected data/information,
from various genuine open secret sources, without any patents
or copyrights, compiled, copied and pasted on the web billboard,
most of the important aspects of life, tips, views, techniques
and solutions for wellness, happiness, success and benefits to
as many people as possible, through the wondrous, wonderful, worldwide
web. Yahoo, Google and God will help all those, who intend to
help themselves. Wherever, whatever suits you, just >Apply
